Trust Building, Sydney, Australia
On Saturday June 13, 2020, storied French luxury fashion and accessories house, Hermès, opened the doors to its newly-relocated Sydney store at an esteemed heritage-listed address on King Street.
Sydney’s Trust Building at 155 King Street is the new Sydney City home of the family-owned, centuries-old brand, the maison stocked with all its covetable wares and those iconic orange Hermès boxes just waiting to be filled with must-have pieces such as a signature Hermès leather cuff or a statement silk scarf.
In line with the grandeur of the Parisian label, the new Hermès Sydney store is grand in scale, with 800 square metres of floor space featuring all sixteen of Hermès métiers.
The entrance for the new Hermès retail sanctuary is through the reimagined original doorway of the store, found on the intersection of King and Castlereagh Streets. Once inside, shoppers will be delighted with the soothing colour scheme, including the blue toned hues on the store’s walls, which are complemented by the white-finished stucco.
